Returns and refunds: how to make a request
You can request a return and refund online on our website or in person within 30 (thirty) days of making the purchase.

Refunds and returns through Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd website are subject to the following terms:
Returns and refund requests must be submitted to Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd within 30 (thirty) days of delivery. If your return and refund request is older than 30 (thirty) days, you will need to visit a Store.
Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd will gladly accept your return if the following conditions apply:
- The product must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition as when it was delivered;
- The product is faulty or damaged, subject to Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd and its suppliers inspecting the product first; The product has been used as directed by the manufacturer;
- The product you received was incorrect; or
- The order is incomplete, so you wish to return it.
Smart Cell Tech (pty) Ltd will only collect products from the same address where they were delivered. Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd may charge a collection fee, or you can deliver the product to your nearest store.
To arrange collection of the product from the nominated address, Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd and its delivery service providers will contact you. Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd will provide your personal information to the delivery service provider.
Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd may inspect the product and/or send it to its supplier for testing before processing any refund. Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd is not responsible for any faults or damages resulting from:
- Wear and tear;
- Negligence, abuse, and/or incorrect use of the product; Non-compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications;
- Lightning damage and/or electrical surges.
The items you have customized cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are found to be materially defective. Cut-to-measure, special-ordered, or tinted paint products cannot be refunded or exchanged. In addition, Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd will not be able to refund pre-paid electricity, airtime.
Refunds and returns will be processed in accordance with Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd refund and returns policy, and will be credited to the same payment method used to create the order (e.g. credit card, EFT, or trade account credit).
How long will it take for your refund to arrive?
A refund will appear in your account within seven (seven) business days, and EFT refunds are subject to verification.
The exact amount paid will be refunded less the following:
- Any delivery costs already incurred by Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd
- Restocking fees may apply to special orders.
In the event that you have changed your mind and would like to return a product, Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd will gladly process the return and refund subject to these terms and conditions. In the event that Smart Cell Tech (pty)Ltd charges you an additional delivery fee for the collection of such products, it may do so at its discretion.
